Good luck with the initiative Atita, I think it's a very important aspect of a welcoming OSS project to attract new contributors, and I hope more ASF projects will follow (and I am sure people in those projects will be happy to share their experiences with those who would like to try. Also a suggestion if I may propose something - maybe it's worth bulk- check and reach out to those projects that already use it as well if they are happy with it / can share their experiences. I won't have time to do anything other than share our experience if asked as I have to focus on other things, but maybe it's could be a good idea to reach out to press@a.o. They run a successful "my first contribution campaign", that attracted - I think - a lot of attention, so maybe this initiative could spark some other small campaign, which might help to reach to other projects and people (in and out of the ASF).
