I don't think you need to give instructions on how to install OOo on Debian using rpms. Deb-packages for the latest milestone builds are available [1]. These builds from Pavel Janik are official enough to use for testing on Debian and for giving feedback using the Issue Tracker.

People using Debian or a derived OS normally don't need detailed install
instructions. When OOo2.0 becomes available through the Debian mirrors
apt-get OpenOffice.org is probably enough for them to make it work.

It might take some time though for official deb-packages to become
available after OOo2.0 is released. Debian packagers have to make lots
of changes to OOo before it's ready to be released due to growing Java
dependencies in OOo. They are working on it [2].

Right now debs are not available on the OOo-mirrors. My advise for now
is to cut out the Debian-specific install instructions form the 2.0
setup guide.
