couldn't find OOo base files in it. So I guess they must be somewhere
else, but I can't find where...

Another possibility is a CVS checkout or
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/openoffice-et/po2/helpcontent2,
where all the *.po files (are but I do not know how official this
is and these are a lot of individual files ... :( ). Or download
the source of OOo RC3 ... ;)
