Jean is right. Authors determine the spelling. As a Canadian, I use the
spelling with which I am familiar. Plus I found that most of these
spellings are in use around the world as in India, Australia, New

this style of spelling thus making translations a bit easier.
Problem?
You just made me realize that I really don't even notice the difference
anymore unless I get into a co-editing situation. I do compose with U.S.
spellings though. I don't see an issue here. The spellings are not so
different that they slow even a non-familiar reader down much, I suspect.
And if anything, they stress the international effort that goes into OOo.

Not a problem, per se. Just thinking about the internal consistency of
a document. And trying to get feedback. This list was too quiet :)
