So my idea would be to find some process that allows the communities
to act independenly, yet still in a coordinated fashion, so that
docs from one community can be pulled into the
mother-of-all-documentation projects (doc.oo.o).

:-) The difficulty also is to go through each project to find their documentation and to be aware of the updates.

I'd like to tell you what I've been thinking about for the Art Project.
Don't know if it works, but it could be a starting point:

- create a subcategory "documentation" (for me it would be "art" ;-)
to every native lang project.

- all documentation submitted to IZ should be submitted to this subcategory.

- this would allow us to reach all the contributions through a simple Issue Tracker search limited to this subcategory.

I know that the Francophone community uses their files&documents area to work on their documents and I don't know if there are corresponding issues. Perhaps they (and other projects doing the same) use a common hierarchy for their D&F and provide the link to the main folder for finished work to the documentation project.

So we don't need to research several areas but only one central...

Just a thought...

Best

Bernhard
