Is there really any value in a broad-brush listing of the thousands of

Tossing in my tuppence.
If the list also explains where/how to do those functions in OOo, then
yes, there is value.

But it won't and can't. Who really cares about how many different types
of underlining functions one suite or app has over the other? Even if
the Migration Guide shows what menuitem in the Format menu does what in
OOo and how to do it in Word? And exactly which functions should be
dubbed to get any attention? Who is helped and why?
Perhaps, few of us have ever read the original Migration Guide. Of those
who did, what parts were actually helpful? Which parts were totally
ignored? If ignored, why?
