A user [1] wanted to change the math template documentation from %mu to %my (and similar). He is using a German version of OO.o, and reports that %mu doesn't work, but %my does.

According to the WG translation [2], it works the same (as %mu) in both English and German.

Could you check it out under a German version?
1) Insert > Object > Formula
2) Type %mu (space or return afterward) into the bottom pane; the mu character should appear in the document. If it doesn't, we have a problem.
