Nowadays the localization to those (and any other string resource) can
be found in the project l10n. There is a sub directory for each locle,
and in that one there is a single huge filed named localize.sdf.
Thus if you want to check on the German localization of the symbol names
in Math you have to load the file
l10n\source\de\localize.sdf
And in that you need to locate the define from the symbol.src, that is
the RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES. There is one entry with that define for every
en-US entry listed in symbols.src:
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 1 0 de alpha
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 2 0 de ALPHA
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 3 0 de beta
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 4 0 de BETA
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 5 0 de gamma
...
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 5 0 de mu
starmath source\symbol.src 0 itemlist RID_UI_SYMBOL_NAMES 5 0 de MU
...
The order of course is the same as in symbol.src.
