Hi Saranash, The API can be open source. The scoring and lending platform is separate and not open source as the AI models are built around customer business cases, business rules, available data, demographics, workflow, etc. An Open API could help standardize the interface making integration easier for scoring platform, but it would require adoption by other vendors. CGAP is promoting Open APIs for financial inclusion.
