The payment strategy for Azure seems to be rather strange anyway. I just deleted my Azure VM hosting ma TeamCity build agent as the VM costs keep running even if the VM is shut down. The Support told me that in order to pevent MS from billing me for the idle time, I would have to delete the VMs after using them and setting them up the next time I want to use them (Very disapointing)
Would have been the ideal setup for CI Flex builds :-| Chris ________________________________________ Von: Erik de Bruin [e...@ixsoftware.nl] Gesendet: Freitag, 24. Mai 2013 16:01 An: dev@flex.apache.org Betreff: Re: Jenkins builds and Mustella A little update: - flex-tlf (-): succeeds - flex-sdk (main checkintests): succeeds - flex-sdk_release (release): waiting for Extension Manager install - flex-sdk_asdoc (asdoc): succeeds - flex-falcon (all) - succeeds, marked 'unstable' because some FalconJx tests fail I'll let these run a week or so, just to see if they keep up and react correctly to commits etc., after that I'll retire the 'old' jobs and put these in production (have them report failures and restores to dev@a.o. and the 'breaking' contributor). On the Mustella Azure VM: had two runs of about 7 hrs (doh!) fail because the JavaVM ran out of memory. Have set ANT_OPTS system variable to give the JavaVM 512MB to play with, see if that fixes things. Also have downsized the Azure VM to a Medium instance, which (if it has the horsepower to run Mustella: 2 cores, 3.5GB) should give us enough credits to run it full time. The previous size (Full) only allowed us to run it for the first half of each month :-) Plans for the Azure VM: - install Apache to serve 'localhost' to Mustella - install Jenkins to automated the git pulls, Mustella run and report the results Once I'm satisfied with the setup, I'll give the entire PMC access to the VM via RDP. That way we can all work on getting all the tests to pass and tweak the system.
