+1 (non-binding)

Sounds exciting!

I went through the FLIP and it mentions support for MCP (for tools) and
kafka as a storage engine for inter agent interaction support.
These are great for enterprise adoption, standardization, and
interoperability!

In similar vein, I wanted to get the community's thoughts on support for
Google's A2A protocol for agent to agent communication [1]. Backed by
Google and 50+ of it's corporate partners [2], I see A2A gaining widespread
adoption, although gradually.

I think it presents some good ideas.
1. Is it within the scope of the proposed Flink agents project to add
support for A2A? Or my understanding of the project's aims is flawed and
this should be dealt with elsewhere?
2. If support is to be added, should it be baked into the Flink agents'
Agent / AgentRuntime classes for out of the box support, or as a special
subclass?
3. Alternatively Flink agents could choose to remain un-opinionated on this
while allowing the extensibility to let users define their own A2A
compliant flink agents workflows?
4. Or any other ideas if I'm way off the mark here?

Just figured I'd put it out there and get thoughts on this while we're
still in the design phase on Flink Agents.

The A2A specification can be found here:

Thanks for the work on this!
