the reason for storing the printer is not 'speced' anywhere. At the time
this was started there were no specs ;-)
If you change the printer once you usually don't want to change the
printer again each time you want to print the document to this printer.
That's probably the reason why this printer is stored in the document.
If you open the document and don't have the stored printer the document
should be printed on the default printer.
