That's something that has to be supported in Calc. Calc forwards range
selection only to dialogs derived from its own ScAnyRefDlg class. We
have a similar situation to yours in the new chart module, which has its
own wizard dialog, instead of the old "two dialogs from different
modules that try to look like steps of one single dialog" solution.
There, we have to use the button, too. Some day, we'll have to make
"instant range selection" available to the outside, but you shouldn't
wait for that.
Ah. Then this item remains on my wish list. Meanwhile I'm not going
to hold my breath for it. ;-) I'll proceed with my cws as planned.
