I don't like it, but as a short-term solution I think it is okay.
But, hopefully we will have openejb snaps deployed to a repo soon so we won't need to do this.

I think this is the best short-term solution to the openejb integration issue. I would like to stress that we should eventually try to remove this source-level dependency for out long-term direction.
Am I right that it's as simple as executing
$ svn propget svn:externals geronimo
?
That seems to be an interim yet elegant solution. It's a bug fix so no need to RTC it.
