AFAIK, MasterCompute is sort of a mini superstep to bypass having a separate
superstep to do some simple computation AFAIK. And yes, it would be great if
the model were documented somewhere. Jan, can you please add something to
http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/GIRAPH/Index about the MasterCompute
model?
