Hi Scott, That test really puzzles everyone. I did a reformat it a while ago[1], but I don't think we have put that patch in yet (we might soon?) you can look at the "testUpdateWebPage" method. The map.clear() function should work, maybe it is something else going around there man. Hope that helps.
