Vishanth commented on GORA-527:
-------------------------------

Hi Team Gora,

I'm Vishanth. To give a bit of background on me, I'm currently pursuing my
Masters in Data Science at Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
Prior experience in Open Source: Committer and PMC member of Apache Stratos and
I have 3 years of work experience in open source products at WSO2, Inc, where I
mainly worked on Cloud technologies and Internet of Things.

I currently hold a desire in learning Data Mining and Technology. I came across
this project while searching for projects in the area of my study. I'm
interested in taking up this project. This is my first year of GSoC as a
student. However, I have experience in being a mentor of a GSOC project,
therefore I fully understand the roles and responsibilities.

I have submitted a small proposal with deliverables and timeline planning.

Regards,
Vishanth

> Redis is an open source (BSD licensed), in-memory data structure store, used
> as a database, cache and message broker. [1]. It's better if Gora can used
> for redis db as well.
> This jira is created to provide Redis compatibility for GORA
