Right. We were a bit optimistic calling it rc-1. At the time we didn't intend 
to do anything other than fix bugs, but a few changes did sneak in.

Both :)

The intention is that rc-2 will become the 0.9 release after an (as yet 
unspecified) time period. And the reality is that we'll probably do an rc-3. 
Let's see what bugs we end up finding and fixing.

After this, I think we should switch to a more disciplined, time-boxed release 
schedule. Maybe something like every 4 weeks.
