personally i think inkscape would be a better base for the sort of thing you
want; all it needs is maybe just multiple documents and then it is almost
there whereas openoffice draw would need a serious overall (which would take
for ever at the current rate of development). Presentation work is IMHO
wildly different from publishing work; I agree that draw should be renamed
to publish, that makes much more sense. Inkscape can be used for
presentations and of course there is jkeynote but as both are not
interoperable with Microsoft office which I have to show any presentations I
make with they are not much help.
