time is only one problem. You need to know eclipse and jdt internals if you want to do more than just do some simple adjustments. No-one of former codehaus groovy and grails teams has this knowledge. The GGTS guys are still at pivotal and won't be paid to do contributions beyond simple things. So even if someone would be willing to pay for it, I see no person to give the money to and get the job done.
In other words we need people from the community for this to handle the problem.
