I was thinking on a global basis, due to the fact that I used the "Invert" mode
some years back (it was Acrobat 3.0, IIRC) to have a good compromise
on printing either in B&W or color, and the task should be quite
similar to the "Viewer preferences" above. On a link basic, well, that
can be perhaps a style property ? Or mapping a Font Style to a PDF
link property ?

So, in the end, I'd like to add both the Viewer preferences above and
this last one, plus the one I partly implemented (but without UI so
far): 3.6.1 1.4 ref, only PageMode.

after browsing my old code I realised that the "highlighting mode"
needs information on the rectangle enclosing the link text, so for the
time being I'd rather leave that out, since I think that this may need
changes in the PDF filter code (or not ? let me know it...).

Not a problem at all, since we have that rectangle anyway ;-). You cannot define a Link without it.

for the time being, I think that patches will do.
In the meantime, I'd see how the CWS system works.

I'll create one then, i don't think you can create one without commit rights. Just tell which milestone you would like that CWS to be based on. After the CWS is created i'll add the vcl and filter modules (vcl for PDFWriter, filter for the dialog). You can then check out the right revision by branch.

One last thing: I work on this only in my spare time, so don't worry
if I'm somewhat slow of answer to questions, discussions, etc..

No problem at all.

Kind regards, pl
