The layout module is currently being maintained outside of OOo in a
GIT repository, and included in the default ooo-build as a set of
patches. I think the time has come to start putting this in a CWS, so
that other people can start looking at (and working with) this code.
Best is probably a new top level module called `layout' in the `gsl'
project. Can you help me to get that created?
With pleasure. I'll ask Heiner (hr) on how to proceed. The actual
creation of the directory should be as simple as a "cvs add" on a new
directory in the gsl project, but you'll need a module alias so one can
check out layout seperately from whole gsl. I think you need to file an
issue for that, but Heiner will know better.
Kind regards, pl
Yes, Heiner confirms that for a new module you need a cvs add in gsl and
write an issue to mh that should get an alias for the new modules.
However Heiner also asks if we couldn't instead put this into a
subdirectory of an existing module (like e.g. toolkit) to cut down the
proliferation of new modules a bit.
Basically your choice.
Thanks for the work, layouting is something that is sorely missing in
our dialogs.
Kind regards, pl
