Ideally ~three months between minors but this has slipped already as volunteer bandwidth comes and goes, and the decision to do a minor instead of a patch depends on the compatibility guideline implications of commits to branch-1 so it is going to depend on what actually lands.
No problem holding 1.5.0 until your JIRAs are finished.
