There is a vast group of people who (regrettably) will not touch
anything with BETA in its release version. We are unlikely to get more
feedback unless we start slapping GA on 5.0 releases.
Is there anything realistically blocking us from freezing the 5.0 APIs?
Though, I have again missed my goals (tickets), but that's purely my
problem.
I'd push GA and see what happens. One can still produce 6.0 quite
quickly if we notice that the API isn't as good as we intended it to be.
