Configuration Vs HiveConf is important though of lesser concern to me. But I do
feel strongly about two independent mechanisms in ql and metastore with
HiveProxy as intermediary. Redesign there is certainly warranted, but clearly
out of scope for this jira. Lets take up that one in separate jira.
