After a bit of digging around, I found that there is a console appender
attached to the root logger with name `null` in addition to the appender from
`logging-integtest.properties`. This appender is created as a
[fallback|https://github.com/apache/isis/blob/2fcfc93647a9a32401951b0f01676e9ed11a14dc/core/log4j/src/main/java/org/apache/isis/core/runtime/logging/IsisLoggingConfigurer.java#L110]
when there is no `./logging.properties` file by
[IsisSystem|https://github.com/apache/isis/blob/2fcfc93647a9a32401951b0f01676e9ed11a14dc/core/runtime/src/main/java/org/apache/isis/core/runtime/headless/IsisSystem.java#L213].
Logging for integration tests is independently configured
