OK, thanks. I applied the patch in revision 778741. As a next step I think we
should change the ConnectionFactory to return the configured DataSource instead
of a Connection object. This way we can push the DataSource reference all the
way up to the PersistenceManager implementations and use it to get Connections
only on demand.
