I think we should publish the new site "at once". Making an announce or letting newcomers see the new landing page but the old style in the other pages would cause confusion and give an impression of something "broken". I'd rather merge it once all pages have been re-styled. I don't care about improving the docs in this phase. Just having the old docs rebranded should be enough. But thinking about the elements in the top menu should give us the pages we could drop (IMO all those about design decisions that are partially complete and all referring to specific jclouds 1.0 features that no longer make sense to explain). I think that cut can happen before merging. My idea would be to ideally have everything rebranded in a week or two at most. It is not that difficult.
