Just a quick update here. I ran tests against blobstores: atmos, aws-s3, azure, cloudfiles-us, google-cloudstorage, cleversafe (an S3 compliant blobstore), hpcloud-objectstore and swift.
Tests passed against all blobstores except hpcloud. Even if hpcloud, if the region is explicitly specified the tests pass. So the problem is that the default choice of region (and therefore the endpoint) is different between jclouds 1.7.x and jclouds 1.8.0. Chris and me are looking into this. I also have a live test case with which we can verify the fix. We'll keep this thread posted about the progress. For specifics about the bug feel free to watch bug 645 [1]. -Shri [1] https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCLOUDS-645 On Thu, Jul 31, 2014 at 3:07 PM, Chris Custine <chris.cust...@gmail.com> wrote: > I didn’t mean to hijack the release discussion thread, I will re-post my last > reply to the Jira that Shri opened and we’ll discuss details there. > > -- > Chris Custine > > > On July 31, 2014 at 4:05:35 PM, Chris Custine (chris.cust...@gmail.com) wrote: >> I’ll check this out.
