Alright, we need not consider bug 645 as a blocker. We should definitely release note the new requirement that jclouds.region has to be set to the appropriate value for HPCloud Object Storage.
Considering you and Chris understand this issue best, I think, could either of you suggest an appropriate comment in the 1.8.0 release note PR [1]?
