Hi Andy & all,
it looks like we are close to completing this contribution now: SAP has the
appropriate resources in place to support users. We are just trying to work out
the best route for contributing the patch now. Andy, from your previous comment
I can discern 3 possible routes:
1. Apache ICLA/CCLA
2. Signed Software Grant (you provided a link to the grant template, but I do
not know how/who/where best to sign/submit it)
3. Tick box declaring project can use code when uploading patch file (but I
tried this route and it does not present any declaration, it goes straight to
uploading the file!)
Can you provide clarification on whether route 3 is still available and where
that declaration is? It would seem to be the most practical route. Otherwise
can you direct me to where/how I should submit the signed Software Grant? In
any case, SAP legal people want to check over any declaration first: I have
forwarded all this info to them for their input as well.
