Well, we'd been talking about 1.8.7 for some time, and I think we'd
reached a rough consensus that this summer was the right time to make
the move. So I'd say yes, we should go ahead with adding 1.8.7
features.

Ideally, most of what we need is already there in our 1.9 support, and
we can just flip them on. You interested in starting the process? I
think RubySpec has pretty good 1.8.7 coverage now.
