Anyone that wants to dive in can go for it. In many cases it will just

We'll obviously need updated stdlib, but that's not too difficult either.
Just for reference, with latest trunk Rubyspec we are at this:
2806 files, 4745 examples, 12408 expectations, 47 failures, 79 errors
If I update jruby.properties to be 1.8.7 instead, we end up at:
2806 files, 4955 examples, 12400 expectations, 85 failures, 303 errors
Which is actually not bad at all.
