Thanks a lot for adding the KIPs.

On a separate note, tomorrow (19th of November) is the feature freeze
date. I will wait until the morning of the 20th to cut the release
branch and from then on any necessary commits should be cherry-picked
to that branch.

Let me know if the freeze date needs adjustment!
