Approximately 50. An we will working 3 days, 24 hours/day, so I expect
that there will be enough time to translate some of the missing KDE
strings too ;-) At least that was the case previous time when we manage
to translate all OO strings, plus 3000 strings of KDE and GNOME in one
weekend. Plus we already have 7400 clearly translated strings with
merging the the .po files from OO.org 1.0.2, plus 9300 fuzzy, of those
around 3000 are with minor errors to correct. So in start we have 10000
strings completed. The biggest part of translators are experienced, they
have been working on KDE and GNOME translations for years, so I don't
expect problems with QA/consistency testing. After that we will lecture
the strings before we officially release the translation.
Please convert the po files back into the sdf file format (
http://blog.janik.cz/archives/2004-11-08T21_46_53.html ). File a issue,
attach a link to your sdf file and assign the issue to 'ihi', component
'l10n' . The next possible release will be 2.x ( x > 0 ), so I suggest
to update your file continuously till the next announcment for sdf file
collection is made.
May be Stefan or Luis can help how to set up an N-L project.
I'm in charge to continuously maintain the translation up to date after
the marathon, so there will be no problems with that. Thanks for the
link, it is very useful. Can you mention the email of Stefan or Luis, so
I can open an N-L project before the marathon? I would like to have this
done in time.
