I don't know why you start ranting about this, but the freedom of
software does not refer to "all settings of the compiled executable are
modifyable to every extend you could imagine". However, you're free to
obtain the source, modify the locale data, recompile the library and put
it into your installation. Or find someone who does it for you.

Currently there is no mechanism implemented to override locale data
definitions in an installation, this is on the to-do list for some
future version.

I don't understand why you need to enter thousand separators when keying
in numbers. Anyway, if it is only for the combination of a dot as
decimal separator and a space as group separator you could use the
Georgian locale, which has both. However, changing the locale of course
also affects the representation of date formats and such.

If switching the locale doesn't help, ask someone to modify your
locale's data and recompile the localedata_euro.dll for you.
