Hi SOOophie,

I've already answered Remi's questions on [EMAIL PROTECTED] But it seems that his issue is unsolvable currently.

Thanks a lot. You're so kind. You told me to give OpenOffice up and now you say
everybody
in here not to pay attention to my issue because it's currently unsolvable.
What's wrong
with you ?

Free and open source software are developped by a huge community of developpers
who help
each others. Free and open source software users help each others as well. I
like it. This
is generous and noble. This is a philosophy I like and I myself help the others
when I
can. I've subscribed to mailing lists about Mozilla FireFox and Thunderbird and
the
answers I give seem to be appreciated.

Because I like the way free software are developped and supported, I really
want to use
OpenOffice. And I really want it to be used in my company as well. The problem
is that
Calc is time consuming by comparison with Excel, as for me, and I'm trying to
find a
solution. I'm trying to adapt OpenOffice to my needs. Isn't it OK for you ?
Isn't it a
legitimate aim ?

I asked for a solution to replace the ',' decimal separator by a '.'. And I
explaned why I
need that. You answered something like "In France, the official decimal
separator is
','. It shouldn't be changed. That's all.". Sorry but I just can't accept this
answer
which is a bit sectarian and peremptory.

OpenOffice is free software. Please let me dream I can adapt it to my needs as
I can do
with Thunderbird and as I can help the others do with Thunderbird. You and me
are not so
different. We shouldn't go on wrangling. We should work together to create
something for
the community.

Regards.
