Unfortunately this _is_ just a technical issue, as OOo doesn't support
variants yet. All "this dialect is / is not a language" issues would be
moot if it did.

Unimportant, as long as neither ISO nor IANA have a language code
assigned, it's no distinct language for all standards compliant
applications.
