However, keep in mind that OOo is Free Software. It is not clear (unless I missed some important information) wether OOo 2.1 will be ready on the6th of December. It is thus important for you to keep that in mind. I don't even think that all the features have been precisely determined for inclusion in the 2.1.

On another topic, I would just like to point you to some ressources andadequate mailing lists of the OOo projects. First, the [email protected] is THE mailing list for all the localizers of OOo. Rafaella Braconi, Pavel Janik and Eike Rathke are here to help you as well as many others.
Thankyou. Rafaella suggested I join this list, and the QA list. At the time, this looked like the most appropriate list to ask general questions.
The NLC gathers every worldwide community of OOo localizers, users, documentation writers, marketers and QA testers in every language possible. As such, the L10N project and the NLC are very symbioticallyintertwinned, but each of their scope is a bit different from the other.
Ah. It is unfortunate that our involvement in OOo has been so rushed for this release. I trust that we will have time afterwards to get our heads around the whole structure. (Sounds uncomfortable, but you know what I mean. ;) )
Instead of using Google Groups, I'd recommend that you use OOo's tools:-vi.openoffice.org mailing lists (you can create a new one but [email protected] should be the right list for your works)
We are using [email protected], as Nam suggested. vi_VN is our overall group, for all our Vietnamese localization projects.
I hope we won't have to use all four vi.openoffice.org lists. Too many lists. :( Each project has at least one list. I lost count after 50, but I end up spending all my time on email, and not on translating.

Thankyou, these are very useful resources. Our secondary goal (after this release) is to update the vi.openoffice.org site, and hopefully there will be considerable interest in the forums and resources, as OOo-Việt meets our community. It's a wonderful feeling, the first time an application comes up in your language. i18n isn't about how good your English is: it's about who you are.
Last but not least, I noticed that you are using the Wordforge's tools such as Pootle. There is already a set of po files for vietnamese OOo here: http://pootle.arsaperta.org . Ask Nam T. for more details or myself (as I'm hosting that server).
I should indeed have asked Nam about those! We didn't know about them. The Pootle admins uploaded Nam's files onto the main Wordforge server, where they have been translated/updated, and are now undergoing review. It is certainly viable for us to have a separate server: it would take some of the load off the main server. Once we've been through the release process first, I hope we can talk about moving to that server, if that would work better.
