Great!!!
21 December 2006, we asked him to give us the date in which new strings
will be frozen for next version, and we didn't receive any answer... now
we know that this date is 18 January,, we can't finish the translation
on that date... but we will finish it soon.
The so called UI freeze happend on 28th december, see the timeline in th
e OOo wiki:
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/OOoRelease22
That means that normaly no further string changes should happen. On 18th
january we collect all available translation and merge then into the
source code.
I reopened your l10n issue and pasted the url of your file into it.
Please always use issues for tracking or your work might not be merged.
Some questions:
-When will be uploaded the galician gsi file??? How can we know????
You open an issue and add a link there. For the dates see the wiki page
and/or look into this list for the announcement.
-will be the openoffice translated to galician in new versions of
distros like Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc???? This is what we want, we
want that all distros can have the openoffice.org in galician,.... Do
you understand me???
Those distros use all the same ( patched ) code line so don't worry.
Cheers,
Ivo
