Should it also be a .sdf file? Helpcontent belongs to the same sdf-file when creating with toolkit from po-repository created with the same toolkit.Forgot to tell, that when you are working with separated sets (helpcontent2 vs. all the other) you can generate partial sdf-files, for this you need also split sdf-template file (en-us.sdf). But in _my_ opinion this is additional work and there's no need for that.Correct, unless you want to start submitting what you have translated so far instead to wait and submit one big file at the end....
We have separated the interface and Help files on Pootle, because we were starting from scratch, and the sheer size of the combined task was too discouraging for our team.
Now we have completed the interface file, perhaps we could reintegrate them, but I would prefer to keep them separate, because that way we know when the interface is at 100%, and when it is not. That is our primary task.
We have got some work done on the Help, about 14000 words, and would like to submit it separately if possible. How do I split the 11MB en_US.sdf file so I can run po2oo on the helpcontent2 directory?
I tried running po2oo (Translate Toolkit) on the helpcontent2 directory, using the whole en_US.sdf file as the template, but the process complained that it couldn't find the template for any of the files. I only retained the files we had completed in that directory: there were no incomplete files in it, so there were only about 12 files. But it wouldn't convert them. <sigh>
I need to get the issue logged, or we are past the deadline.from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do)
