Could you explain what the problem is re the geronimo and the
mail/activation jars with Cocoon? I didn't find an open issue
in the bug database.

I agree that it would be much more preferable to copy the jars to
a lib/local directory in Lenya.
Great.
Still, it should be avoided to touch the
external Cocoon sources.
AFAIK, we are not touching them. We are just copying them.
copying to where exactly?
To the final build. What is the point of digging and digging the same
thing all the time? Are you testing my patience or what? Sorry but I see
this discussion as pointless. You should be more direct and explain if
your build went broken. I will be glad to help. And if yes, please
explain the things directly instead of wasting resources in a nonsense
discussion. Or do you want to probe something? I really don't understand.
I see this as "reusing". Would you explain more why do you think it
is bad?
I guess Felix means it's bad to change the external Cocoon and I very
much agree, because it will
to problems re upgrading. The external Cocoon is just to make things
easier re installement and development
and nothing more.
Nobody is changing nor touching the cocoon external dir. We are just
taking (copying) from there some jar needed for lenya at runtime.
Best Regards,
Antonio Gallardo.
