yes, because it will give people a chance to state their opinion and also

-1 from me, because that would include practically all changes at
the moment because client code could be based on any of our code.
I am not sure if I really understand what you mean. You mean because
people base their
stuff on Lenya? Well, sure they do. This is why API changes need to be
communicated properly
and in the case of a stable branch the API is even frozen except for bug
fixes.
