IMO we can even release what we have now. It would be nice to have a better default publication, but I don't think it is necessary for the release. Our existing users have their own publications anyways, and providing release with the newest bug fixes could be useful for them.
Maybe we should review the open issues though and see if there are any blockers that can be taken care of.
Are there some devs around who can help ? I think I will have time after christmas to work on this.
