I don't know the procedure to get something only into the build for your country/language.To make something available as an extension, I think you have to create it yourself and upload it on the extensions website. I don't remember all the details as I didn't yet have time to try that myself. Please have a lookat this thread: http://lingucomponent.openoffice.org/servlets/BrowseList?listName=dev&from=1989615&to=1989615&count=40&by=thread&first=1&windowSize=1000
Thanks for the reply: it does help. :)Firstly, though, I need to find out if the Vietnamese spellchecking dictionary has already been integrated into the builds, or not. We did submit it, and it was uploaded to the FTP server. Past that point, I don't think we had any information. I can't find any issue logged about this dictionary.
(Normally, to achieve change in any build, you submit an issue against that component. To achieve change in localized builds, you submit issues against that particular language, or against Localization/ Internationalization if it's something the language team themselves can't fix. I've submitted several issues for this version, to amend our Help CSS files, and submit our localized Help images, localized templates, wizards etc.. Lingucomponent doesn't seem to be as big on submitting issues as other projects.)
In DEV300_m17, users reported that they could install our dictionary, so it must be available from somewhere. I just want to check that it's available either directly in the application, or via this new extensions method, in OpenOffice.org 3.0.
Ivan, what's the status of your spellchecking dictionary in OpenOffice.org 3.0?
