If you really do need to be wrapping a cfoutput around all of the html in the page then you'll need to do this.

<cfoutput>top stuff</cfoutput>
<cfoutput query="myquery">
   <cfoutput>
   </cfoutput>
</cfoutput>
<cfoutput>bottom stuff</cfoutput>

That or cfloop and manage the grouping yourself.

But I get the feeling from your last email that there is something that you aren't tell me.... What is the purpose of that outer loop? what are you displaying and where from?
