Right OK thanks....
 So do I keep the bit of code to create them initially - and then put an
isDefined around it all so that it only runs if the variables have been
deleted (e.g. CF restarted)?
 Do I set the application timeout in application.cfm and what kind of value
do you use? hours, days, weeks, months - or is this dependent on the
application characteristics?
