Hi

This might be useful for you as it compares CF5 code to CFMX and cfc's

http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/coldfusion/articles/updating_legacy.html

Apart from that there are a number of decent articles in the CFC section of
the CF development section
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/coldfusion/cfcs.html

And any CFMX will have a section on cfc's.

Go through some of the above, start playing around with code and let us know
if you have any problems

Hey Guys

I have been involved in coding in a CF5 environment but I am soon likely to
be undertaking a fairly large project which will be based around CF7 and
components.

Can somebody recommend a/some good texts or resource to get me up to speed
quickly on components?

Many thanks
