Huahahahahhaha at least you can use them to catch some insects.
Technical books have something I don't like. Once they are "deprecated", you can't just keep them to read in the future. They are not like normal books which you can just keep in your shelf and read it later, or even give it to a charity shop.

What could someone do with a flash 4 book? Not even beginners will be able to use it, as the current version is almost totally different.

Just some thoughts ;-)

Cheers

That's why I don't buy any more now. I've still got loads of Coldfusion 4.5
books around, which are about as useful now as my flash 4 books :)

Well, I think you better buy a good ColdFusion Book. I recommend

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0321223675/qid=1142007265/sr=8-1/re
f=pd_ka_1/203-9999849-1294309I
don't know about this version, but I remember reading for ColdFusion v4.5
and it was very interesting and intuitive.

Hey Guys

I have been involved in coding in a CF5 environment but I am soon likely
to
be undertaking a fairly large project which will be based around CF7 and
components.

Can somebody recommend a/some good texts or resource to get me up to speed
quickly on components?

Many thanks
