Thanks Simon but I am playing FLV files through the Movie player.  So I need to 
pass a variable like:

http://www.somedaomain.com/movie/mymovie.flv

and the player use this rather than the one that gets embedded when you create 
a player for specific clip using Flash 8

Sorry if I was not clear.
